Fans of Death Cab for Cutie and the Beastie Boys have a couple of reasons to pay attention to the Sundance Film Festival later this month.
Both Death Cab frontman Ben Gibbard and Beastie Boy Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz have scored films that will be screened at the fest, which gets under way January 16th in Park City, Utah.
Gibbard worked as the composer for Lynn Shelton's dark comedy Laggies, which stars Keira Knightley and Chloe Grace Moretz.
Horovitz, meanwhile, scored the documentary No No: A Dockumentary. The film tells the story of Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Dock Ellis, who famously threw a no-hitter while tripping on acid in 1970.
